Day 01: Arrival in Addis Ababa. O/n hotel

Day 02: Fly from Addis Ababa to Gondar. O/n Goha hotel

Day 03: SANKABER 3230M Drive to Sankaber 3230m-ASL through beautiful scenery and the village of Falasha (Ethiopian Jews) Overnight Camping.

Day 04: GEECH 3600 m-ASL Early in the morning start trekking to Geech  3600m-ASL through the magnificent Simien plugs and the pillars of the majestic mountain seeing the semi afro-alpine vegetations, Giant heather, thistle globe, Rosa Abyssinica and more… The trek will take 5-6hrs with plenty of stop-overs to take pictures, admire and see the endemic birds of Ethiopia. Overnight camping

Day 05: EMET-GOGO (3930m-ASL) Saha’a AND KEDADIT (3760m-ASL) Early in the morning trek to mount Emet Gogo3930masl and to the breathtaking view of mount Kedadit 3760m-ASL where you will see some of the rare endemic mammals-Red fox-and afro-alpine vegetations like Giant Lobelia, Rosa Abyssinica, Red hot poker and more. The trek will take 7-8hrs overnight camping

Day 06: CHENEK (3600MASL)-THE HOME THE ENDEMIC WALIA IBEX. After breakfast trek to Chenek3600masl through bushes, fall dawn, streams and the pillars of mountains; this will take 6-8hrs to the camping site. IN the afternoon walk around the camping area where we see the endemic Walia ibex and Chilada baboon and birds like a thick-billed raven, lammergeyer, Abyssinian hornbill flanking in the Simien Mountain Skies. Overnight camping

Day 07: AMBIQO. In the morning start trekking to Ambiqo3000m ASL through the different plant species. Overnight Camping 

Day 08: AMBIQO-RAS DASHEN-AMBIQO (4630Masl) In the morning trek to Ras Dashen4620m ASL the highest peak in Ethiopia and fourth in Africa through the smells of Afro-alpine vegetations-particularly-Giant Lobelia-crushing over sometimes the snow in the ground with the harmonious song of Cliff chat and lammergeyer. On the way, we will have the chance to see the rare Ethiopian Wolf (Red fox) fighting with vultures. The trek will take 9-10hrs Overnight Hambiko/Ambiko.Camping.

Day 09: AMBIQO– CHENEK 3600m ASL 
After breakfast trek back to Chenek(3600masl) and after noon walk to see the Walia  lbex and Klipspringer. Overnight Chenek. Camping.

Day 10: CHENECK- GONDAR 
Pick-up from Chenek and drive to Gondar. Balance of the day, free to relax. Over night hotel. 

Day 11: Gondar –Addis Ababa or Continue to the Northern Historic Route/ combination.

Day 12: Departure, End of the Tour.
