FKEE 100 HALF DAY CITY TOUR OF ADDIS ABABA
Addis Ababa meaning "new flower" is the capital of Ethiopia founded in 1887. The half day city tour of Addis Ababa includes a visit to: The National Museum, Mountain Entoto and Merkato(the biggest open air market in Africa).

FKEE 100A FULL DAY CITY TOUR OF ADDIS ABABA
The full day city tour of Addis Ababa includes a visit to: The National Museum, The Menelik's Mausoleum, The Ethnological Museum also known as the Institute of Ethiopian Studies, Mount Entoto and Merkato.

FKEE 101 AMBO & WONCHI CRATER LAKE/FULL DAY
Drive to Ambo 125km West of Addis Ababa passing through the Gefersa Water Reservoir, the town of Menagesha and Addis Alem, once planned by Menelik II to become the capital of Ethiopia. Turn left from Ambo town to reach the volcanic crater Lake Wonchi and walk down through a difficult 45-50min path to the shore of the Lake. Take a wooden boat locally called "TANKUA" and enjoy your picnic lunch on an island. Then cross back the lake to take mule or to walk up the hills, approximately 1:30hrs and drive back to Ambo. Coffee stop at Ambo and then proceed to Addis Ababa to reach before dusk.

FKEE 102 MENAGESHA & SUBA FOREST NP/FULL DAY
Menagesha Forest National Park is found at 42 km West of Addis Ababa after passing the town of Menagesha. On the way, stop at Gefersa where you can see many bird species including the endemic ones like: the Blue-winged Goose, the black headed Siskin, Rouget's Rail and others. The Mountain of Menagesha is covered with old Juniper trees dating back to 400 years. It is a well kept and the nearest NP to Addis Ababa. Walking through the forest and enjoying bird watching and a tranquil atmosphere is a remarkable activity. Picnic lunch by the guest house or in the mountains. Late afternoon, drive back to Addis Ababa via Meta Beer Brewery.

FKEE 103 MENAGESHA & ADDIS-ALEM MARIAM CHURCH DURATION FULL DAY
Drive to Menagesha forest with stop over at Gefersa. After lunch, drive back to the main road passing through Menagesha town to further West and proceed to Addis Alem meaning the new world. Visit the church of Addis Alem Mariam and drive back to Addis Ababa.

FKEE 104 DEBRE-ZEIT AND ZUKUAL MOUNTAIN/ FULL DAY
Drive from Addis Ababa to Debre-Zeit 42 km South of Addis Ababa and turn right to drive up the hills and climb the Mountain of Ziquala 3000m ASL. On the top of the mountain is situated the Monastery of "Zikuala Abo". Right behind the monastery is the volcanic crater Lake of Zikuala. After Visit, drive to Debre-Zeit. Lunch box at Zikuala or a hotel lunch at Debre-Zeit. After lunch, visit two of the six volcanic lakes and return to Addis Ababa before dusk Content for Program One is currently unavailable.
